With this full-day discovery tour, take your time to discover the beauty of the countryside and the richness of its wines combining a wine and olive tour in the morning and a Pic Saint-Loup tour in the afternoon. Visit three wineries and one olive oil producer. For lunch, you will have a delicious meal in a restaurant overlooking the turquoise waters of a beautiful lake (in season and weather permitting) or in one of the area's excellent inns.You will be picked up by your guide in a minivan (small group of 2 to 8 people) on the Esplanade de l'Europe in Montpellier at 9:30 am.
After a 30 minute drive, you will first visit a family producer of olive oils and taste its delicious specialties. You will then visit the famous Château Puech Haut where you can admire a unique and original exhibition of painted oak barrels and end the visit with a tasting of its exceptional range of wines.
For lunch, you will have a delicious meal in a restaurant overlooking the turquoise waters of a beautiful lake (in season and weather permitting) or in a traditional French restaurant.
In the afternoon, set off in one of the most interesting wine area of Languedoc: the Pic Saint-Loup where you will discover a stunning natural landscape bathed in the aromas of the "garrigue", the typical Mediterranean vegetation. You will visit a selection of two wine estates from this unique "terroir".
Return to Montpellier around 5:30pm.
