Discover Avignon, the city of pope during a guided walking tour of the historic center before to driving to the national park of Luberon to visit famous hillop villages listed by Unesco and the cistercian abbey of Sénanque, walking in the path of Peter Mayle and "A year in Provence". Fist stop in Avignon to walk around the ancient pope city with your guide to discover Avignon Bridge, Saint Peter church, garden and narrow streets filled with history or visit the Pope palace on your own. Admire the famous Avignon Bridge, walk up to the Rock of the Doms and gardens to enjoy a panoramic view on Pope city. Explore narrow streets, cathedral, town hall square and church with your guide or you can decide to visit the Pope palace with udi-guide on your own.

Drive to Fontaine de Vaucluse, a beautiful village famous for its spring and walk along the Sorgues river to visit the paper mill and learn everything about the natural paper making process.

There will be a photo stop on a panoramic view point to admire the hilltop medieval village of Gordes, listed by Unesco. Enjoy free time at leisure for lunch in Gordes where you can visit the caves, church or Saint Firmin palace.

You will drive to an isolated valley to discover the cistercian abbey of Sénanque built among lavender fields for a photo stop session before reaching the ochre village of Roussillon called the "Provençal Colorado". You will have free time to visit the place or walk along the ochre path during a 35mn walk.

Drive along one of the most beautiful roads of Luberon park, passing the hilltop medieval village of Bonnieux and the Roman bridge Pont Julien to reach the village of Lourmarin famous for its 18th century castle. Peter Mayle stayed there during "A year in Provence".
