This full-day tour is designed to show you the ancient capital and city center in Bangladesh. We will also take you to a uniquely designed bamboo school for under privileged students. You will not miss the boat ride in Meghna River. Sonargaon was the administrative center of medieval Muslim rulars of East Bengal. It became the capital of Bengal during Isa Khan’s ruling and during that time many buildings were constructed in Panam City. They are located in Narayongonj district that is approx. 30 kilometers from Dhaka. The mighty river Meghna is flowing by the side of Sonargaon Panam city.

At 8.00 am our guide will pick you up from the hotel and start the journey to Sonargaon. We will visit Goaldi Mosque that was built in 1519 and then Bangladesh Folk and Art center. Later on we will go to Panam City (Panam Nagar) to see the beautifully decorated buildings constructed around the end of 18th century.

After taking lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit a unique school made of bamboo. The school received a lot of international award for its unique design. Afterwards we will take a boat ride in Meghna River and visit a river Island near Sonargaon. When the tour concludes, we will take you back to Dhaka by 6.30 p.m.
