Gain a unique view of the indigenous culture and way of life of the Balinese people during this full-day trekking and sightseeing tour. Visit a Bamboo Forest, Rice Paddy fields, Holy Spring Water Temple, and more!Your tour will begin with a pickup from your hotel. From here, you will be taken to Taro village, one of the oldest Hindu Villages in Central Bali dating back some 3000-4000 years. Taro is steeped in tradition and culture where rural life has remained mostly unchanged for a thousand years. The isolated village boasts the oldest Temple structure on the island of Bali and is also home to the famed Sacred White Cows that are rare to the island.

Walk through a Bamboo Forest and see the timeless routine of planting and harvesting rice from the endless stretches of emerald green Rice Paddy fields unfolding before you. We will introduce a variety of plants and ecosystems as well as the stunning natural scenery, far from urban life.

We will also invite you to interact with local people and observe their way of life. The locals are very kind and welcoming, they will ensure you feel safe and comfortable. You will also be invited to try participating in some local events and activities such as planting, arts and crafts, and more!

You will trek for approximately 4 hours. Along the way you will see many exotic, tropical fruits such as salak, durian, jackfruit, papaya, oranges, mandarin, mangoes, and mangosteen. You’ll also be given the opportunity to try some local spices such as cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric direct from their natural source. Take a break to refresh yourself with a swim in the natural spring swimming pool!

The tour is not complete until we serve a lunch of Authentic Balinese food at a restaurant located in the middle of rice fields with views of the beautiful terraces.

After lunch, the tour will continue with visits to Holy Spring Water Temple (Tirta Empul), Luak Coffee and Spices Plantation.

Once the tour is complete, you will be taken back to your hotel safely.
