The Full-Day Wellington Foodie Experience tour will take you around to different sectors of the foodie industry to discuss how things work and even enjoy a few tastings.
Start with a talk from a professional coffee roaster who will discuss his passion for the culture of coffee and roasting. You’ll also be treated to a tasting.
You will then visit a master butcher who will talk about all the different cuts of meat and how the trade has changed over the years.
From here you will visit an Asian supplier where you will see a vast range of products from Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and China and many more.
To complete the first half of the day, you will visit a French Cheese importer where you will learn about and taste a variety of French Cheeses. We will take a break for lunch, with complimentary wine included.
The afternoon will be spent in Petone, where you will visit an Indian Spice Shop and taste a range of Indian Sweets and learn about all the spices and different rices.
To top off the day, you will visit a well-known Food Emporium where you can learn and taste foods from around the world!
