Receive insights from your knowledgeable local guide and embark on a one of a kind experience. Start your full day trip being pick up at Central Barcelona in a comfortable bus with guide on board. Your first destination is Girona, you will visit one of the most biggest city north of Barcelona. Discover this medieval city that has one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe. You will experience the history of Girona on its small streets of the old city center. Walk around this streets with full explanations and visit the exterior of the Cathedral in the old city center to learn about its artistic heritage. The guide will lead you through these street towards the famous pastel coloured houses at the edge of the river bank to admire this beautiful sight. Enjoy free time to explore the city by your own.At the appointed time, come back to Barcelona city center and free time to have lunch (not included).

The second part of this tour starts at 3pm, take the bus and relax enjoying the views on the way to Montserrat. The rocks of Montserrat were formed by natural cement of sand during the centuries. The wind and rain shaped the mountain with strange and varied forms. You will go up to Montserrat with the Cog – Wheel Train, which leaves you in the middle of the Monastery. It is a 15-minute trip with a privileged and spectacular view of the mountain. The train has panoramic windows which make the actual journey an interesting attraction. The train is air-conditioned and they are completely wheelchair-friendly. You will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which holds the famous 12th century Romanesque carving of Verge Moreneta (the Black Madonna) and you will be able to see this famous statue from a distance. After this, enjoy of free time to visit audiovisual exhibition about the history and creation of Montserrat and taste typical liquors of Montserrat, handmade by the monks of the monastery.

Conclude your tour back at Barcelona city center.
