In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create several stunning pieces of glass jewelry. Using materials such as frit, dichroic glass, and regular fusible glass, you will take away one-of-a-kind wearable masterpieces.The mantra or idea of the studio is simply, “make stuff – be happy”. Something in the human nature allows us to derive happiness thru the creation process and success of a finished product. Stepping back from a completed project allows a smile and gratification to be able to reflect in the moment of ‘I made that’.
At Affinity Studios, our goal is to create meaningful and stimulating curriculum for all of our artists -- young and old alike. Our faculty members are highly-qualified, professional art educators and talented artists. With over 25 years of combined experience between them, they are dedicated to their students and their education. Our skilled instructors encourage and inspire creativity, confidence, focus, collaboration, dedication, and problem solving. Our hope is that through accomplishment, the students will develop a deep love of learning the art of glass. - Students will make 2-3 pendants depending on their work pace, and how creative you can be. There are many options and colors to chose from.
- We require no open toe shoes or sandals, long pants are always recommended. Eye protection will always be worn.
