Begin the tour with a pickup from your central accommodations at approximately 8am. From there, proceed to the island of Gramvousa, an important bird habitat in the Eastern Mediterranean region. It is known for one of the bird migration spots in this part of the world. It is the habitat of over 100 bird species and 400 kinds of plants. Upon your arrival, begin a 15-minute hike up to the nearby castle, built in the 16th century as a defensive mechanism. View the exterior before heading off to your next destination.

Head to the beach, where you will have time to swim in the crystal clear water. Board the awaiting boat and make the 20-minute journey to the lagoon of Balos. As the water is very shallow, a small fishing boat will take you a short distance from the main boat to Balos Beach. The water is warm, the seabed is composed of white sand, and the sand itself has pink coral in various sections. The guide will give you ample time to explore, swim, and relax on the beach. At the end of the day, you will be returned to your hotel.
