When your cruise ship docks at the George Town port, get ready for an exciting Jet Ski adventure in Grand Cayman. Ride to Stingray City Sandbar and get up close to the southern stingrays. Meet your guide near the cruise ship terminal and head to the Cayman Islands Yacht Club in West Bay. Your small group shore excursion will be off and running from the dock once your guide provides a safety briefing and instructions for steering your Jet Ski.
With your life vest secured and snorkel gear on board, ride your single or double Jet Ski on a 25- to 30-minute ride to Stingray City Sandbar. Follow your guide to the sandbar and disembark to stand in the shallows, which reach just 2 to 4 feet (.6 to 1.3 meters). Reach out your hand to touch the amazing southern stingrays as they swim past, and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. Don’t forget to take photos with these incredible creatures!
Then hop back aboard your Jet Ski to Grand Cayman’s barrier reef, located just a few minutes away. Reaching depths of approximately 6 to 10 feet (1.8 to 3 meters) deep, the coral reef is home to plentiful tropical fish and other marine life. Search for the local green eel that occasionally swims out to pose for pictures. Afterward, hop back aboard your Jet Ski and return to the dock.
