This is a 6-hour tour (transportation included). This excursion will be interesting for fans of European history, Architecture, Art and Horses, for curious foodies and connoisseurs of exquisite ceremonies and traditions. The first part of the tour is a visit of Chantilly, the family estate of Prince de Conde. You will get to visit a unique architectural complex which is surrounded by picturesque forests and lakes, the ancient castle of Chantilly–a valuable emerald in the crown of French aristocratic architecture. The castle in renaissance style was built from a single piece of rock in the middle of the reservoir, and the only entrance is over the bridge. Architects turned castle into a huge expensive box of surprises: when you visit it for the first time, the castle of Chantilly opens to you in a tremendous way – as an endless kaleidoscope of visual reflections by balustrades, columns, exquisite stucco and stone ornamentation. The park is also very amazing; it is full of great sculptures of the Italian masters of the Renaissance.

In the second half of the tour, you will visit the Great Stables of Prince de Conde. f you know that the castle was founded by constable Anne de Montmorency, which means – “the chief of the royal stables,” it is clear that: horses and Chantilly are only one. Since the XVIIth century local stables trained thoroughbred horses and draft horses reliable for court ceremonies, kings, princes and representatives of the best European aristocratic families ride on Chantilly’s horses.

Today, the large stable of the Prince de Conde –is a modern equestrian center, where beautiful mares and stallions live and train for international competitions and circus performances. You will see the heart of the French horse-breeding. Here is the unique museum of horse, whose chief patron is the Eastern Prince (multimillionaire), Grand Imam of the Ismailis Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini, Aga Khan IV.
A large variety of activities is regularly hosted at the hippodrome – from the most expensive dressage horse’s races of the world to the local horse-recess.

At last, enjoy a gastronomic break. Let’s take a break in the absorption of spiritual food and replace it with the traditional, of course in the renaissance style. You will have a starter, a main dish, a dessert and a glass of wine at one of two beautiful restaurants of Chantilly Domain filled with the spirit of French history. You can taste warm goat cheese salad, coquilles st Jaques gratinée, cocottes sucrées and other delicious dishes. You can see that French chefs take their work seriously. The historical fact: most famous chef of Chantilly François Vatel committed suicide when he thought fish was not delivered in time for the guests in the garden of Château de Chantilly.
Let’s show respect for traditions of French cuisine and appreciate great atmosphere at the restaurant located at Vatel's kitchen, give freedom for your own appetite!
