Agra was the capital of India during the Mughal era and also the center of business and commerce. Your experienced local guide will take you to the old part of Agra where you will see the centuries old architecture, known as Havelis, while explaining the history and culture of this beautiful city. You will be picked up by your guide at your hotel in Agra at 9:00 am and start this half-day walking tour with an old spice Bazaar.

Experience the smell of red chilly that might seem a little irritant to you at the beginning, but the humdrum of the bazaar will make you forget this and fully enjoy the experience. Experience the narrow streets of the Johri bazaar (jewelers market) that were intentionally made very narrow to guarantee the safety of the market and witness the johris (goldsmith) work in the shops with hand tools. Also visit the Jama Masjid, the grand mosque built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan surrounded on all sides by the bazaars. Don't forget to taste the famous sweet (Petha) of Agra at a centuries old eatery. When the tour ends, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
