Shenken is famous for its gourmet tofu, and there are so many different kinds of tofu in this place. You can try different kinds such as regular tofu, stinky tofu, dessert tofu, fried stinky tofu, BBQ stinky tofu, tofu cheese, tofu cake, sweet tofu drink, dried tofu, and tofu ice cream (own expense).
After the round of tofu meals of your choice, your tour guide will take you to another popular township, Pingxi. At Pingxi, you can write down your wishes on a lantern and release it to the sky. You can also stroll down the Pingxi train track and check out some old shops built during the 1930s and 1940s. In addition, you will see some traditional wooden houses which were built during the Japanese colonial era.
After finishing this interesting tour, your tour guide will send you back to your hotel in Taipei.
