The tour will end in a typical restaurant where you will enjoy all the products of the territory and taste local wines like Lambrusco and Malvasia. Your journey to discover Parma and its traditions starts leaving the city to get to know the places where the excellence for which this land is famous are born. During your first stop you will visit a cheese factory and see how milk is transformed into Parmigiano Reggiano and you will discover how this cheese, devoid of any chemical additive, can be aged for years to improve its quality. You will learn to recognize the various aging stages thanks to the tasting led by an expert.

Your journey will then proceed to discover another excellence of this land: Parma Ham. In the ham producing house you will see every phase of the curing of the meat and taste the final result, yielded by meticulous aging.

The tour will end in a typical restaurant where you will enjoy all the products of the territory and taste local wines like Lambrusco and Malvasia. You will have the possibility to taste the different salamis of the Parma area, as well as the tortelli d'erbetta, a round shape pasta stuffed with ricotta and herbs, a specialty of Parma. As for dessert, you will discover the famous sbrisolona and other dry pies. The lunch also includes water, wine and coffee.
