Visit the city of El Alto were we'll find the “amautas” (aymara fortune teller). It's time to continue our trip very close to the sky, in the highest urban cable car of the world, visit popular markets and enjoying a traditional paceño's snack. At 9:00am or alternatively at 2:00pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel and we get on the road to the city of El Alto, Bolivia's youngest city well-known over the world by the great influence received from the aymara culture. There we will find the “amautas” (aymara fortune teller) and we'll have the chance to ask them about our future.

Now it's time to continue our trip very close to the sky, in the highest urban cable car of the world. We depart from the panoramic station, which allows us to know this beautiful city from a whole new perspective; we enjoy the wonderful view of the Andes Range and a city whose houses and streets “hang” from the mountains, we will “invade” many neighborhood´s homes to observe how the “paceños” live from the perspective that the cabins give us the chance.

We arrive to the popular zone called “Buenos Aires”, because of the official name of its crowded main street, this is one of the zones where the commerce gathers, we'll walk by looking at the traditional street commerce until we arrive to a traditional market where we will get to know the traditional products of the region and their use in the diverse Bolivian popular gastronomy.

Return to the cable car station, where we continue crossing the city towards the south zone, on our way we will see streets and alleys, which lead into twisting avenues and beautiful landscapes. Now it is time to “invade” the houses from the residential areas of the city, which offers us the Royal Range as our landscape background.

We end our tour enjoying a traditional paceño's snack, the “sandwich de chola”, which is called this way because it was originally prepared by women dressed with polleras (skirts) called “cholas”. After we'll return to your hotel.
