Witness the harmony of religions, where east meets west, and ancient meets modern during this 4-hour guided tour.After a pickup from your hotel at 8am, you be transported to Belur Math, the most enchanting temple in Belur, located approximately 10 miles (16km) from Kolkata on the western bank of Hooghly River in Howrah district. The first thing you see is the main gate which leads to the Ramakrishna Sarada Mandir. The Rama Krishna temple looks like a church, mosque or temple depending upon from where it is viewed. The building's unique architecture symbolizes the universal faith of its congregation. It is a non-sectarian organization and ignores the caste distinctions still present in much of the country. Once you enter you are immediately surrounded by natural beauty that and the silence everywhere may enlighten your mind. You may even notice the devotees standing in queue outside the residence of the President waiting for his blessings.

Some notable sites on the grounds are the Sri Ramakrishna Temple, designed to celebrate the diversity of Indian religions, the marble statue of Sri Ramakrishna and the Swami Vivekananda Temple on the spot where the Swami was cremated. There is also the temples of the Holy Mother and Swami Brahmananda.

During your tour to Belur Math you may also explore the Sri Ramakrishna Museum, set up with the assistance of the National Council of Science Museum. At the end of your tour, you will be brought back to your hotel.
