Built to showcase the rich diversity of the people of Borneo, the village is set amidst secondary jungle providing an ideal setting to learn how each tribe has used materials commonly found in their surrounding environment in their everyday living.

To enter the village, you would have to cross a 20 meters hanging bridge spanning 13 feet (4 meters) above a flowing river.  Enjoy a 90 minutes leisure walk as you visit the houses of the major tribal groups of Borneo namely the Dusun, Rungus, Lundayeh, Bajau and Murut Longhouse.  Please note there are up to approximately 12 steps needed to enter the various houses to fully appreciate the culture.

The flooring of the houses are uneven and you are advised to watch your step. At each house, you will be shown different cultural activities unique to that particular tribe such as cooking using bamboo, starting fire without matches, how to make local snack and drink, and blowpipe target shooting.

Complete your cultural village experience with a live presentation of dance before savoring traditional cuisine unique to Sabah (either a simple lunch, tea or dinner depending on which departure you have selected.)
