The first sight you get of the island is a sight of beauty that cannot be described in words: the only settlement that you will find on the island, the harbour settlement. Pastel shaded houses, built in terraces around the harbour, the church of St. Nikolas on the right and the clock tower beyond the town Hall in the middle. This might leave you with the impression you could discover the island in one day at most.

Wrong…There’s a lot more to find, either by walking or taking the bus. You can go on a “journey” with knights, pirates and a lot of mouth-to-mouth tradition.After being picked up from hotels situated on the south, east and west coasts, you will be driven along the west coast to Kamiros Scala where you will embark for the boat trip to the beautiful un-spoilt island of Halki, which is the smallest inhabited island of Dodecanese, internationally known as the Island of Peace and Friendship.
Situated approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes from Rhodes. When you arrive in the quaint island of Halki our escort will brief you on the places of interest. The island is accessible on foot (and you can swim at the sandy beach of Pontamos which is only a 10 minute walk away), optionally you could hire a small boat to transport you to several beautiful secluded bays.
There is time for lunch (please note this is not included in the price) in one of the harbour side taverns. The boat departs from Halki at approximately 16.00 hrs returning to Kamiros Skala where our coach will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel after a thoroughly enjoyable day!
