Your 4-hour Hamburg pub crawl begins at the iconic Beatles-Platz at the foot of the Reeperbahn red-light district. As the name implies, the drinks here are cheap — be sure to try the locally brewed Astra beer.
After kicking off at this well-trodden area, head somewhere a little more low-key and local, Roschinsky’s, offering a great selection of cocktails, beers and shots with DJ entertainment. Crawling your way along Hamburger Berg street, let loose at Sommersalon, a two-floor bar with cocktail specials and different kinds of music every night.
After midnight, crank up the energy with a visit to Thomas Read Irish Pub on the Reeperbahn for live music, drinks, dancing and even karaoke. Finally, head back to Grosse Freiheit to finish your crawl at a hopping nightclub — either Funky Pussy Club or Jams.
