Come along for a small-group adventure through the Hilo to Hamakua coast tour. Scenic drives take you back in time to old Hawaii sugar plantation days. Countless waterfalls and gulches line the Hilo coast line as we head toward the north side of Hawaii Island toward Historic Honokaa town and Waipio valley lookout.
  • Banyan Drive to Liliuokalani gardens on the way to downtown Hilo, see the once booming sugar plantation areas to tsunami devastated villages that no longer exist
  • Akatsuka orchid gardens which offers some amazing sights of the big islands biggest exported flowers. A fun fact, Hawaii Islands nickname is "The Orchid Isle."
  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Take a walk through a rainforest on your way to Thurstons lava tube for a hike beneath Kilauea. You'll be able to feel the heat from beneath at the steam vents alongside the caldera. Jaggar museum is located on the rim of Kilauea caldera overlooking Halemaumau
  • Heading back toward Hilo we continue along the Hamakua coast rich land once covered in Hawaiian sugar field
  • Honolii valley along the old mamalahoa road to witness a local surf area and lush foliage
  • Onomea bay taking in the natural beauty of this coast
  • Akaka falls to witness this towering falls as well as old Honomu town
  • Honokaa town on our way to Waipio valley lookout (Valley of the kings)
  • Waimea town offers a look back at the old Paniolo days (Hawaiian Cowboy) of Parker Ranch once the largest single family owned ranch in the United States
  • Stroll through Waikii ranch on our way to Mauna Kea park to stand in between the worlds tallest (Mauna Kea) and the largest (Mauna Loa) volcanoes in the world
