Learn interesting facts related to the vegetation of Costa Rica and get to chance to observe different kind of birds, reptiles and mammals free in the nature. Start the tour in the meadow with safety instructions on how to control your horse. Once you feel confident, enter the wild rainforest, listen carefully to any noise as you may see interesting animals.

Your naturalist guide will point you interesting aspects of the flora and you may have the chance to taste some typical seasonal fruits.
At the exit of the rain forest, you'll cruise a small stream. Horses may be a bit thirsty and then the vegetation completely changes, it is the entrance to the jungle.
An easy ascension will bring you to a breathtaking view of the Golfo Dulce bay opened to the Pacific Ocean.

The second part of the ascension has some more abrupt steps. On the top of the mountain, your guide will tide up your horses, you’ll step off for a little hike in the primary forest where you'll go down to a magnificent waterfall.
Take pictures, observe the nature, and even have a refreshing dip in the fresh water before going back to the horses.

A trail down the mountain will bring you by an elementary school located on Rancho Tropical’s farm. Continue your way to the beach, if the tide is low enough, some will want to gallop on the sand.
