Based on the best selling book by Ian Sayer and Douglas Botting, this tour explores the region of Bavaria where much of the Nazi Reichsbank gold was buried at the end of World War II.This amazing tour brings you on a quest to find the Nazin gold but in order to find the treasure we must first walk the steps taken by those involved. We begin in Mittenwald where Colonel Franz Wilhelm Pfeiffer was given possession of the gold and began the mission of hiding it within the Karwendel mountains. Then up to the Forest House where witnesses claim they saw the path taken by those shovel bearing men. After we wander the area where much of the gold was sequestered we then make our way to Garmisch-Partenkirchen where the story gets really good: what happened to the gold after it was found!

This amazing tour brings you deep into the heart of Bavaria where you will relive the final days of Nazi Germany. The hunt for the treasures that were hidden and the great story of what occurred afterwards some or most of the treasure was found.
