This is a jeep safari in 4x4 vehicles to discover the villages and traditions of the interior of the island.Get to know the most authentic side of Fuerteventura. Travel in soft-top Land Rover Defender for up to 6 passengers + 1 driver. The first stage of this route is La Pared (the wall) to see the natural sea wall. Then you will stop in the viewpoint Mirador de los Elefantes on your way to Pajara.
In Ajuy you will visit a cheese-factory, where you can enjoy a tasting of this specialty of the island: the majorero cheese. Moreover, you can learn here how cheese is make directly from the producers. After the visit and the tasting you will visit the Caves of Ajuy.
After the visit and the tasting you may be hungry. That’s why our next stop will be a traditional restaurant where you can choose between steaks and fish accompanied with the typical papas arrugadas and the traditional canary sauce: mojo. In this restaurant you can see how this specialty is made.
The next stop is Pajara, where you can visit the hermit Virgen de la Regla. Then you will visit Betancuria, the former capital of the island, founded in 1404 by Jean de Béthencourt.
The villa Casillas de Morales is our next stage. There you can see amazing landscapes and houses and visit an aloe vera fabric, where you can know all the secrets and properties of this plant. From these places you can also see the remaining of the last volcanic eruptions in the island. The last stage of this trip takes you to Costa Calma crossing Tiscamanica, Tuineje and Taralejo.
