Learn how to make your favorite Japanese food in this 2 hour cooking class right in the middle of Tokyo. Your instructors will teach you the skills and techniques on how to make some very local dishes. Many may vary depending on the season. The most famous classes are Sukiyaki, Tonkatsu, Curry,Tempura, Grilled Fish with Miso, Gyoza, etc. Your instructor selects only the freshest and most seasonal ingredients. You will will try your hand at cooking one main dish and three side dishes during this course.

Learn how to make your favorite Japanese food in this 2 hour cooking class right in the middle of Tokyo. Your instructors will teach you the skills and techniques on how to make some very local dishes. The most famous classes are Sukiyaki, Tonkatsu, Curry,Tempura, Grilled Fish with Miso, Gyoza, etc. Your instructor selects only the freshest and most seasonal ingredients. You will will try your hand at cooking one main dish and three side dishes during this course.Get the chance to cook some very authentic and traditional Japanese food during this lesson which is conveniently very centrally located in Tokyo, about 10 mins away from Tokyo Tower.

You will start the class by introducing all the basic Japanese ingredients that are necessary in making authentic Japanese flavors. You will get a chance to see and even taste the key ingredients used in everyday cooking.

Once you're familiar with the ingredients, you will proceed in making dashi (soup stock) or miso teaching you the traditional way of doing it.

During the cooking class, you will make three side dishes, an all-time favorite is Tamagoyaki, Japanese rolled egg omelette. You will be given a hands-on experience in making this very delicious side dish. The other two side dishes depend on what kind of ingredients are in season, only the freshest ingredients are used for this class.

The last part is making the main dish such as Tonkatsu, Tempura, Nikujyaga (Japanese beef stew), Shogayaki (Pork with ginger), Grilled Fish with miso, Chicken Teriyaki, Yakisoba, Sukiyaki etc. Once you've cooked all of the side dishes, soup and main dishes, you will learn how to arrange them nicely, the Japanese way.

A simple introduction on Japanese manners and etiquette will be explained by the teacher before we start lunch.

This course includes some delicious wagashi (japanese dessert) and Japanese tea. All recipes in English will be handed out at the end of each class.
