Your 4-hour experience exposes you to the thrill and freedom of rock climbing. Your guide will explain the equipment and techniques used to rappel down a cliff, climb back up, and safeguard each other using belaying techniques. This is a great intro for people curious about the sport and looking to try something new and exciting.

Meet at 9am for your morning rock climbing adventure in Jasper National Park. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that you can maximize your time on the rock!

Wear comfortable clothing, similar to what you would wear if you were going for a hike, bike ride, or run. Please be prepared for the weather by bringing a rain jacket and some warm clothes as well. If you have a small backpack, that can be helpful to keep all your things together. Comfortable shoes such as running shoes or hiking boots will get you to the wall and back.

You may also consider bringing snacks, water, camera, sunscreen, and sun glasses.

Your guides have extensive qualifications and are all certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. They will provide all climbing equipment (harness, helmet, shoes), backpack if necessary, transportation, and instruction.
