This tour will take you to the place of his capture: the church of St Mary at Via Lata, here you can see the column wher he was chained, touch the walls that saw him as a free man for the sast time, that heard his words of forgiveness and hope. We recommend a moment of prayer and concenration to go back to those dark days and fully understand the extent of Paul’s sacrifice. We will then move on to the Three Fountains Monastery. Here is where St Paul was beheaded, his head having bounced three times on the ground before finally stopping, gave birth to three springs of miraculous water.
