Take an optional tour of the Archaeological Museum along with the Mitre Theatre and more.Start the tour with a pickup from your centrally located Jujuy hotel at 9am. After introductions, begin walking from the outskirts of the city to the Christ of the Brotherhood. There, you will get panoramic views and a better understanding of the landscape. Once you are finished there, see the statues of Lola Mora, known in Argentina as a pioneer for women in art, around the Palace Plaza Belgrano, Cabildo and Police Museum.
After visiting the cathedral, continue along Belgrano Street to San Francisco Church to admire the stunning architecture, including the towers. Next, head to the Lavalle Museum, a museum created in memory of military leader, Juan Gallo Lavalle.
Take an optional visit to the Archaeological Museum to see the mummy of Juanita La Doncella. Once that visit comes to completion, pay a visit to the Mitre Theatre and walk the Promenade des Artisans. End the day with a drop-off at your centrally located Jujuy hotel.
