About Snorkeling with Wild Dolphins
There is approx. 1,000 spinner dolphins that call the Big Island Waters home.  Spotted Dolphins, Pilot Whales and small pods of Pacific Bottlenose are also commonly found in these waters. There is a 95 % chance that you will encounter dolphins. The spinner dolphins are nocturnal eaters and by morning they return close to the shores for play time! When the captain meets up with a pod of dolphins you and the water guides are given the go ahead to jump in a snorkel with them. Dolphins will more than likely come close to you as they are very playful and the babies are quite curious. After snorkeling with the spinner dolphins we continue back to port and it's time for the dolphins to sleep.
