This tour has been carefully concocted for cruise guests and will covers virtually a visit to KL Tower, Batu Caves, Little India, photo shoots at Twin Towers, Malaysia Independent Square and Royal Selangor Clubhouse. A delicious lunch on banana leaves will be served.At 8-9:30am, you will be meet and greet at the cruise terminal which located 25miles (40km) from the city of Kuala Lumpur. You will catch a bird’s eye view of the city from KL Tower before we proceed to Batu Caves.
At Batu Caves, you will climb 272 steps into the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during a festival called Thaipusam every year in January/February. His 140 feet gold painted statue is mesmerizing. Ladies need to be appropriately dressed to enter the temple.
Next would be a visit to the Independent Square where Malaysia got her independence, St Mary's Cathedral and the Royal Selangor Clubhouse where cricket was once popular.
After a short walk in Little India, lunch would be served on banana leaf. Eating on banana leaves is a custom that dates back thousands of years, however its benefits are still relevant today. After lunch, we will visit the Twin Towers for a free and easy, shopping and photo shoots before departing for the cruise terminal at 3pm.
