Relive Buffalo's lawless days where vice, violence and prostitution ruled the waterfront. Our Buffalo pub crawl takes you back in time and to 3 amazing pubs where guests experience why this city's 1800's red light district was known as "The Most Evil Square Mile in America."Follow costumed Buffalo Police Officer Connor O'Connor on patrol as he takes you back to Buffalo's lawless days when vice and violence ruled the city's waterfront. Thousands of sailors, criminals, transients and prostitutes flocked to Buffalo as the Erie Canal caused a population explosion in Buffalo during the 1800's. Your guide will use multi-media presentations and good old fashioned Irish story telling to help you experience Buffalo's notorious red light district. Starting at Canalside, the actual ruins of the Erie Canal, patrons enjoy 2 for 1 craft beers. The group moves on to the Lockhouse distillery in the Cobblestone District for free tastings of locally distilled gin and vodka. The evening ends at the Swannie House, Buffalo's oldest continually operating tavern and authentic Irish hangout.
