Take this 3 to 4 hours Li River Cruise for eye-feasting picturesque scenery of bamboo groves, towering peaks, water wading buffaloes and villages that frequently graces the space of traditional Chinese paintings. Lunch will be provided on-board.
8:15am - 9:10am Your private English-speaking guide will pick you up at the lobby of your downtown Guilin hotel and drive you to Zhujiang Dock where you will embark. Along the way, your guide will provide tell many interesting stories about beautiful Li River and the town of Yangshuo.
9:30am - 1:20pm Upon departure, you could walk up to the top deck and see dreamy scenery of winding Li River for about 1 to 2 hours. If you prefer, you may stay at your seat and enjoy the relaxing journey. Your guide will escorts you on-board and give you information on the attractions along the riverbanks as your cruise boat sailing through hundreds of thousands karst peaks.
1:30pm - 2:00pm Visit famous West Street where you can see old-style buildings with gray bricks and tiles that have been turned into souvenir shops, breweries, bars, and coffee shops...etc. The street is populated with many expatriates who own many of the stores and restaurants here hence the name.
2:00pm - 3:45pm Drive to Yangshuo countryside to see rural lifestyle. You will visit a farmer’s house in one of the old traditional buildings with gray bricks and tiles to interact with them. Later, you will also visit Yulong River, a smaller river flowing through towering karst peaks, bamboos groves and so on. Along the way, make a stop at the rice paddies to see how local farmers cultivate or harvest rice.
At the end of your Yangshuo village tour, you will be driven back to your Guilin hotel where this day tour is concluded.
