We will start this tour visiting the Pucllana Temple archaeological complex, a great adobe and clay pyramid located in the Miraflores district, built from seven staggered platforms. It served as an important ceremonial and administrative center for the advancement of the Lima Culture, a society which developed in the Peruvian Central Coast between the years of 200 AD and 700 AD.

Then, we will go on to the historic downtown, visit the Main Square (Plaza Mayor). Initially, there were small stores and commerce. Also, it was the scene of an excess of bulls and served like the site of execution of the condemned until death by the Court of Santa Inquisición. In 1651, a bronze battery was placed in the center of the seat that lasts to date. It was in the Plaza Mayor where it was proclaimed, in 1821, the Act of Independence of Peru. Plaza Mayor is surrounded by the Palace by Government, which is the residence of the President of the Republic. Its original name is the House of Pizarro but informally it is designated to him like the Palace of Government. Plaza mayor is also surrounded by the City Hall, the Cathedral of Lima and the Archbishop's Palace.

Afterwards, we will go to St. Francis Convent, a masterpiece of colonial architecture where you will appreciate the significant colonial paintings and its memorable underground crypts known as the Catacombs. Finally, you are going to visit the residential Miraflores and San Isidro districts, take in the impressive view of the Pacific Ocean as well as local beaches. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
