Join us for tours and instruction on the Lower Columbia River and Oregon/Washington coast. Our owner-guides live here and have in-depth knowledge and love for the area.LEVEL I programs are generally scheduled for mornings or days with little tidal movement, or in protected lakes and creeks. No experience necessary!
LEVEL II programs may experience light wind (up to 8 kts), small waves (1'), or moderate current (1 kt). Capsize and wet exit experience are strongly recommended.
LEVEL III programs take advantage of afternoon wind (15 kts, waves 2-3') or greater tidal action (2 kts). Capsize and wet exit experience and good fitness are required.
LEVEL IV programs require well-refined paddling skills as they venture into surf, strong wind or dramatic current. They may require or build navigation skills, and contain strong elements of group interdependence.
