Mountain with the Holes is a main attraction for outdoor enthusiasts. The beautiful offered scenery in the valleys and craters is beautiful.Mali me Gropa (Mountain with the Holes) is Natural Reserve and Protected Area situated just one hour drive from Tirana where the outdoor enthusiast will find an enjoyable place to discover roughed landscape of Tirana.
The road leads toward Dajti national park and goes through apple pass in one of ancient roads called Saint George (Shen Gjergji) who connects Tirana with the highlands. After the pass, you will leave the asphalted road and continue in an off beaten track used as a military road at the Communist period. Now days the is situated a semi abandoned military compound and the survival forest for Albanian special forces.
After the enjoyable walk and stunning scenery you can have a coffee break on the way back to Tirana at the village of St. George.
