Masca Cycling Tour in Tenerife

Discover the most hidden village in Tenerife and ride on narrow, winding roads with spectacular views over the northern coastline. We'll either start at Chio, passing the youngest lava streams from volcano Chinyero and cycling through gorges and mountains up to 1200 meters above sea level, or the pretty town of Santiago del Teide. Once we reach Masca, you'll have the possibility to climb the famous 'wall' - an incredible 411 meter, 3.6 kilometer climb! The tour ends at Santiago del Teide where we'll enjoy a typical Canarian lunch. If you still haven't gotten enough after the wall, you can choose for the option to skip lunch and cycle an extra 33km, with 330 meters of climbing back to Las Americas.It is important for riders to ride at their own speed when cycling in mountainous Tenerife! During the ride we will assess the level of the riders and stronger riders will have the chance to go faster and further, whilst the other riders will go slower and cover less distance. This format allows us to regroup at lunch together and return to base at our target time.
