See Hawaii from above as you fly along the northern coast of Molokai during a flight lesson from Maui. Guided by a certified instructor-pilot, you’ll take the controls of a Cirrus SR22 aircraft, learning how to take off, cruise at altitude, descend and approach the runway to land. Enjoy 60 minutes of flying time with a short stop to stretch your legs in the village Kalaupapa on Molokai. No previous flight experience necessary.
If you’ve ever dreamed of flying your own plane, this introductory lesson provides the perfect opportunity, with a bonus of doing it above the beautiful scenery of Hawaii.

After meeting your professionally certified instructor at Maui's Kahului Airport, you'll receive a briefing that covers basic flight controls and safety procedures, followed by a total of 50-60 minutes in the air. In no time, you’ll be piloting the Cirrus SR22 aircraft yourself as you learn each phase of flying: how to take off, cruise over the Hawaiian Islands, descend and land on the runway.

Heading toward the neighboring island of Molokai, soar along its scenic northern coastline and marvel at the aerial views. Then experience the thrill of landing the plane, which you'll accomplished with the assistance of your instructor who sits behind you at the controls.

Hop out of the plane in Kalaupapa for a quick break to stretch your legs, snap a photo or two and learn about the history of this former leper colony. Afterward, you can either switch flyers with another person in your group or continue with the original flyer for the return journey to Maui (up to three participants are allowed per booking).

Your entire lesson is recorded on two video cameras at no additional charge.

Pricing is per person, based on 3 adults per departure.
