Mt Wilson Mountain Bike Shuttle Sample gives you a taste of Mt Wilson with only a 3.5 hour time commitment. Riders experience the Gabrielino Trail from Red Box to Switzers and have multiple choices from the top of Eaton Saddle.  It is all singletrack and you descend almost 5000' before reaching the parking lot. You will ride 12 - 17 miles on terrain that is suitable for beginners to advanced riders. The ride is unguided and lasts 3.5 hours depending on rider skill.
  • 12:50 PM - complete waiver and load bike on shuttle
  • 1 PM - shuttle departs promptly for Red Box
  • 1:30 PM shuttle arrives at Red Box and riders unload their bikes
  • 1:35 PM riders take the Gabrielino Trail to Switzers parking lot
  • 2:10 PM shuttle picks up riders in Switzer's parking lot
  • 2:30 PM riders arrive Eaton Saddle
  • 4:30 PM riders complete ride
This event does not include a guide.  RIders are expected to be self-sufficient and must be prepared for changing weather conditions and bicycle repairs.  There is no cell phone coverage on the ride.  Please come prepared.
