Enjoy personalized attention on this small-group tour limited to 10 people. This adult-only tour starts with a midday hotel pickup in Cancun. Travel south for about an hour to Playa del Carmen and arrive at Native’s Park, an adventure park and private nature reserve in the Maya jungle. After a safety briefing, slip on a helmet and goggles, and hop aboard your single- or double-rider ATV.

Follow your guide and rev your way to Doña Mary’s House, also known as Casa de la Abuela (Grandmother’s House). Meet one of Playa del Carmen’s first settlers, who operated a small ranch here for 60 years. As you stroll through an on-site medicinal plant garden, hear about the traditions of the region’s first inhabitants.

Back aboard your ATV, take a thrilling and bumpy ride on winding trails and check out Maya ruins that were once part of a pre-Hispanic trade route.

After another drive, take a short walk to where you will experience a Mayan ceremony. During the ceremony, you will receive a blessing from  a shaman and you will also receive an amulet. Then, take the sights from above as you go flying on two ziplines over the trees.

After the zipline experience, you will head to the beautiful cenote of Media Luna. Once inside, take a refreshing swimming break in the natural pool of water. At the cenote, you will have the chance to have some professional photos taken of you and your partner. At the end of your ride, return your ATV and freshen up in the park’s shower rooms.

Then, enjoy a traditional Mexican snack with a beverage at the park before you set off to explore the town of Playa del Carmen on your own. With a leisurely three hours ahead, take time to explore La Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue), a long pedestrian walkway packed with restaurants, shops and bars, all just a few blocks away from the beach. Feel free to ask your guide for dining recommendations. Inside Parque Fundadores (Founder’s Park), don’t miss the Portal Maya sculpture, built to commemorate the end of the Maya 2012 calendar. For some tranquility, step inside the chapel of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.

Regroup with your guide at the designated meeting point, where your transport awaits to take you back to your Cancun hotel.
