It is a private tour and can be completely customized to your sport or sports of preference. You can spend as much or as little time at the sights as you like.

The tour typically starts in Harlem at Rucker Court - Home of Entertainer's Basketball. Those who played at Rucker include: Earl Manigault, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Julius Erving, Earl Monroe, Lebron James, Stephon Marbury, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, and many more.

If you want to hone your skills at Rucker, play some pick-up with the locals or just have your picture taken under the NBA's summer street league scoreboard and sign. While at the court, we also show you the sight of the historic Polo Grounds across the street, where the New York Giants, Jets, Yankees and Mets all played.

Next, you'll cross the river to the Bronx and Yankee Stadium. You can tour the stadium, visit the Yankees' Museum, spend time in Monument Park, and check out the team store.

Then on to Citi Field in Queens, where the New York Mets play. If you want, you can swap out the Yankee Stadium tour for a tour of CitiField. Minimally, you can stop and look around in the team store. Also in Flushing Meadows is the Billie Jean King Tennis Center and Arthur Ashe Stadium - home of the US Open. The tennis center is the world's largest, with 33 courts (including 12 indoors). The Arthur Ashe Stadium is the world's largest tennis stadium seating over 23,000.

From Queens, you'll go to Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn, where some of the most famous professional boxers and wrestlers in the world train. These have included: Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Sonny Liston, and more. You can stop in and watch some of today's and tomorrow's boxing and wrestling champions at "work." While in Brooklyn, you can also swing by the Barclay Center - home of the Brooklyn Nets.

Back to Manhattan, where you'll stop at The West Fourth Street Courts, known as "The Cage" - one of the most important "Streetball" tournament sights. It is known for its non-regulation size. Because it is so small, it is famous for its tough physical play. Sometimes it looks more like a wrestling match. A-Train says, "If you don't like a physical brand of basketball, stay away from West 4th." Former NBA players Anthony Mason, Smush Parker and Paul Bode are some who to learn their tough style of play at The Cage. Dr. J, Walter Berry and Jayson Williams also played here.

Finally, you will be taken by the world famous Madison Square Garden - home to the New York Knicks basketball team and Rangers hockey team. If you want, you can swap out the Yankee Stadium tour for a tour of Madison Square Garden.

At the end of this New York Sports Tour, you will understand why the city is sometimes referred to as the Sports Capitol of USA.
