Discover all the secrets of the production of Wine and Olive Oil while visiting and dining in the ancient cellar of a medieval Villa belonging to a Florentine noble family.Wine and Olive Oil are the essence and the two kings of Tuscan food and wine culture.
There is no Tuscan recipe that doesn't include olive oil in its preparation and doesn't consider a specific wine to be paired with.

With this fine dinner experience, you will discover all the secrets of the production of Wine and Olive Oil while visiting and dining in the ancient cellar of a medieval Villa belonging to a Florentine noble family.

With a 25 minute ride, a comfortable van will shuttle you to the green and beautiful rolling hills of the Chianti Wine Region, in the Tuscan countryside. Marvellous landscapes of vineyards and olive groves will surround you, while you reach the noble Villa on top of a hill, from where you overlook Florence in the distance.

Once there, a wine expert will welcome you and take you for the 1000-year-old cellar visit, still used today for wine ageing.
The sommelier will explain the sophisticated techniques of wine making and teach you to distinguish the different and various scents and flavors that each wine presents.

You will then be served dinner in the magical atmosphere of the cellar, where you will learn how to pair different wines with specific dishes. You will enjoy 4 different wines, including an organic Chianti, a Chianti Riserva, our organic Supertuscan -from the estate- and a world renowned Supertuscan. Plus, a sweet typical dessert wine.

You will also taste the region's finest olive oil with typical unsalted Tuscan bread.
The fine dining includes local charcuterie (cold-cuts like typical prosciutto – Tuscan ham – and salami) and a cheese selection, paired with different jams and balsamic vinegar, a selection of two pasta dishes and a main course made of a traditional meat dish. A Tuscan dessert is then served with local sweet wine.

Vegeterian options are also available (please inform us in advance).
The friendly atmosphere of this 4-course Tuscan dinner will let you enjoy a relaxing break from the city chaos, while learning interesting facts and secrets about the Tuscan food and wine culture and tasting some truly gourmet products.

And, after dinner, it's time for Limoncello! The famous Italian sweet liquor made by lemons coming from the Amalfi Coast.
Sip it ice-cold, to refresh your Tuscan summer evening (and, depending on period of the year, enjoying the magic of a Tuscan sunset on vineyards and rolling hills)!

Before being shuttled back to Florence, you will have the chance to purchase local organic wines at a special production price.
You will then be taken back to the city in a comfortable minivan and, time permitting, you will end this beautiful dinner with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo belvedere, for a breathtaking view of Florence, admiring all the lights of the city.

Vegeterian options available (please inform us in advance).
