Your guide for this tour is a native New Yorker who worked at the World Trade Center from 1995 until 2001. You will hear personal, relevant stories about September 11th and you'll visit The 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul's Chapel (which played an important role in the aftermath of the attacks), the Fireman's Memorial, Wall Street, The New York Stock Exchange, and more. You'll get an in depth look at the area surrounding the World Trade Center and understand the complex as it was before, as is today, and as it will be in the future. Your guide — a Brooklyn native, historian and a former employee at the World Trade Center — will share personal, relevant stories about the events of the day including those of victims, heroes and survivors. You will leave with a much deeper understanding and connection to the World Trade Center and the events of 9/11.

Begin at Trinity Church and see the neighborhood that surrounds the World Trade Center. See the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, the New York Federal Reserve Bank and Zuccotti Park, the location of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

From there you'll visit St Paul's Chapel, which played a critical role in the aftermath of the attacks. Your guide will show you other well conceived and striking memorials that you would otherwise, not experience on your own. Then you head to the Fireman's Memorial, a 56-foot long bronze plaque honoring New York's finest who made the ultimate sacrifice on that day.

Finally, visit the 9/11 Memorial and stand beside the reflecting pools where you will have an opportunity to pay your respects and reflect. Your guide will explain the meaning and symbolism of the memorial, the design and appearance of the museum and you will appreciate the great attention, thought and care that has gone into the memorial. Your guide will explain it all and share personal, relevant stories along the way.

You will hear about the World Trade Center as it was before the attacks and you'll learn about the rebuilding of the complex, anchored by One World Trade Center the tallest building in the western hemisphere. Watch the next buildings rise before you and hear about what's still to come. You will leave this tour with a complete and deeper understanding of the World Trade Center, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Depending on what option you've chosen your guide will show you to either the entrance of The 9/11 Museum or One World Observatory for a self guided visit.

The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Your self guided visit to the observatory or museum will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
