This tour will provide you an opportunity to visit the most popular attractions on the water in Guilin: Li River cruise and bamboo rafting in Yulong River. Follow your knowledgeable guide and walk into picturesque views of villages in Yangshuo and discover unique culture here. A buffet style lunch will be served on the Li River Cruise.
Around 8 o'clock in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the lobby of your centrally located hotel in Guilin and transfer you to catch the upstream Li River Cruise. This morning upstream Li River Cruise is a perfect way to enjoy beautiful scenery along Li River valleys. You will disembark at a small village during the cruise, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local family and experience their lifestyle and culture. Afterwards, board on your cruise again and continue your trip to Yangshuo, a small town that has exploded into a famous tourism spot where tourists come to enjoy the karst scenery as well as biking and rock climbing.
Lunch will be served on the Li River Cruise. Upon your arrival at Yangshuo, your guide will take you for a walk along the West Street. This is a narrow S-shaped street running through the part of town mainly occupied by Westerners nowadays, hence its name. Even thought the street itself has over 1,400 years of history, West Street is actually very modern and trendy, nearly every shop has bilingual store signs and more than 20 shops are owned and operated by Westerners who have settled here. You will make a quick stop at the "world’s biggest market" to pick up some souvenirs for yourself or your friends and family.
After a visit to the West Street, it is time for bamboo rafting. You will be rafting on Yulong River through Limestone Mountains and streams for around 45 minutes. Here you could enjoy stunning scenery and witness rural lifestyle on the raft in the traditional way with a gondolier who steers you over the breakwaters passing many small villages.
At the end of this tour, you will be transferred back to your centrally located hotel in Guilin.
