After pickup from your hotel in Willemstad, drive to an ostrich farm, where you’ll learn about ostrich development – from egg to adult bird! Once at the farm on Curacao, board a safari Jeep with an expert guide who will narrate fascinating tidbits about the ostrich as you discover more about this wonderful reptile-like creature.

Learn the difference between the black- and gray-colored birds, the reddish flame on their beaks, how fast they can run and how far they can see. After hand-feeding an ostrich, the world’s largest bird, you may even get the chance to ride one!

After your safari tour, head to the Hato Caves, located on the north side of Curacao, for a 45-minute guided expedition along a paved and illuminated path. Discover the natural wonders inside the caves, where your guide will explain the intriguing geological process of their beautiful limestone formations, created more than 200,000 years ago when the caves emerged from the sea. As you explore the magnificent site, keep an eye out for the iguanas and the colony of seldom-seen long-nose bats that inhabit the caverns. Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
