Cycle through the Canyon of Huancabamb, one of the deepest in the central Amazon of Peru. Once you reach Yachaga Chemillen National Park, leave your bike behind and enjoy a short trek inside the jungle. If you feel the need to cool off, you will have the opportunity to swim in the natural pools.
Finally, you will reach Pozuzo. Pozuzo is an Austro-German community known for its typical European houses and the amazing food you can encounter like specially prepared red meats, fresh fruits and fried Yucas. Also, the surroundings are stunning and you will see the beautiful houses set in the mountains and along the river. You will notice the relaxed life the locals enjoy in this area.
After some time to visit the town and trying out the best local cuisine of the Amazon for lunch (at own expense), you will head back to Oxapampa in a van.
