Visit the ancient city of Petra on a full-day excursion from Dahab. First you will sail from Taba to Aqaba in luxury and then drive to Petra, where you will visit the most popular attraction in Jordan. Enjoy lunch at the Movenpick Petra, a 5-star hotel.
At 05.00 you will leave Dahab for Taba Heights where you will arrive at 07:00 to board your sail boat to Aqaba. After 45 minutes of sailing you will arrive at Aqaba Tala Bay Marina, from here you will be driven to Petra. At 10.30am arrive in Petra and begin the guided tour for 5 hours. Petra is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and the greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab civilization who settled here more than 2000 years ago.
At 15:30 return to the entrance for lunch at the Movenpick Petra 5* hotel. At 17:00 you will depart from Petra to Aqaba, before sailing back to Taba Heights where you will arrive at 20.15.
A one day visit is an absolute minimum and a week will still leave many areas unexplored!
