This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. You will also get to observe the ruins of an intricate route of the Transandino railway winding between tunnels and through steep cliffs.

You will go up the road curve called el Caracol, a road which few people have seen before, at an altitude of almost 8800 feet (2680 m), where you find the Hotel Portillo and ski resort. This historical hotel has received several visits by important political figures around the world, world champions, artists and others. With over 100 years of operation, it is the oldest winter resort in South America.

To make this tour unforgettable, you will also visit the San Esteban vineyard, one of most traditional vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley.
