Enjoy a visit the famous “Cupolone” (translated from the Roman dialect: the Big Dome) the highest point of the city of Rome.
Use the Basilica’s elevator to reach the base of the Cupola (you will avoid 171 steps!). From this point you’ll have amazing views of the interior of the Basilica. Then reach (through more or less 300 steps) the very top of the Dome, named “La Lanterna”, where you can admire spectacular views of the Eternal City that just aren’t available anywhere else. Enjoy the Vatican Gardens, the roof of the Sistine Chapel and the chimney of the Pope's election.
At the end of your tour you can bring with you the interactive postcard, as a wonderful souvenir of your stay in the Vatican State (the smallest state in the world) or maybe decide to send it to your loved ones, taking advantage of the Vatican stamps, available at our welcome desks.
