Day 1: City Tour of Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square (No meals)
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel between 8:30am and 9:00am. Head out to the Forbidden City and explore one of the largest and most well-preserved imperial palace complexes in the world. Next, move on to Tiananmen Square, where you will stroll through China's largest central city square. In the afternoon, you will have more flexibility in your sightseeing options. The guide will recommend options to you such as the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and the Yonghe Lamasery with Hutong Rickshaw. At the end of your day, you will be dropped off at your hotel by 6:00pm. A Kung Fu Show, from 7:15pm to 8:40pm is available as an optional evening activity.
Overnight: Your Accommodations
Day 2: Great Wall Tour at Badaling / Mutianyu and City Sightseeing (No meals)
The tour guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodations between 8:30am and 9:00am once more. Begin your drive to the Great Wall, choosing either the Badaling or Mutianyu Section. Enjoy the beauty of the Great Wall as you take plenty of pictures. In the afternoon, you may choose your next activity. Pick from selections such as Ming Tombs and Sacred Way, the Olympic Park, National Stadium, or the Aquatics Center. End the day at 6:00pm, when you are dropped off at your hotel.
