10:00 AM City Hotel Pickup (9:00 AM for Playa Bonita & Gamboa resorts)
1. 1st stop at the top of Ancon Hill for a birds' eye view overlooking Panama City to see the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, the new Cinta Costera, and the famous Las Americas bridge.
3. Mira Flores locks of the Panama Canal to tour museum, gift shop and view an excellent movie presentation of Panama Canal history and construction.
4. Short drive to Panama´s Casco Viejo district (Old Town) for an amazing historical walk through Casco Viejo´s landmark attractions such as the Flat Arch, Golden Altar, and Plaza Francia.
Day 2:
9:30 AM City Hotel Pickup (8:30 AM for Playa Bonita or Gamboa resorts)
1. Start at the BioMuseo. Marvel this buildings architecture as the only of its kind in Latin America.Panama: Bridge of Life tour consisting of 8 galleries revealing the origin of the Panamanian isthmus and its impact on the planet’s biodiversity. Gift shop, Cafe, and multiple outdoor exhibits displayed in the botanical park.
2. Punta Culebra: Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute
An intriguing look into Panama's geological, natural history, marine and terrestrial life. Walk trails through a tropical dry forest where you will see raccoons, iguanas, birds, armadillos,and tree sloths. Sea life exhibitions for an amazing look at Panama´s marine species of sea turtles, sharks, sea stars, sea cucumbers, sea urchins and even stingrays- and a vast variety of tropical and colorful fish.
Day 3:
Day Trip to Taboga Island (known as the Island of Flowers)
8.30 AM City Hotel Pickup (7:30 AM for Playa Bonita & Gamboa resorts)
9:30am Island Ferry Departure
Fantastic 30 minute ferry cruise aboard a modern, high speed catamaran. View famous attractions and sights from the water with free on-board WiFi.
10am- Arrive to be greeted by bilingual guide to begin the 1-hour walking tour about the discovery and formation of the island as well as the diverse history involving famous pirates, World War II and more.
12:30pm- Lunch: Delicious lunch included
After Lunch- Enjoy the beach with chairs & umbrellas provided
4pm- Return ferry taking in the views of the city skyline, Las Americas bridge, Amador and large ships.
4:30pm- Pickup from ferry marina and return to your hotel or resort.
