Your guide will meet and greet you at the airport or your hotel lobby in Zhangjiajie. Enjoy the rest of your day to explore the area.
Day 2: Bailong evlevator - Yuanjiajie - Tianzi mountain (L)
In the morning, your guide will come to your hotel to meet you, and will take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Upon arrival, taking the green bus of the park to get to Bailong Elevator Station. Then, ascend to Yuanjiajie Mountain (Bailong Lift Sightseeing Terrace) by Bailong Elevator, a glass-elevator built into the cliff of the mountain. On the summit, you will hike about 2.5 hours to discover the Pillar of the Southern sky. It was used to inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the blockbuster movie: Avatar. Afterwards, proceed to the platform or Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the No. 1 Bridge under Heaven. You will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Then, take the green bus to get to Tianzi mountain and visit Imperial Brush, Xihai Stone Forest, and Fairy Lady Presents Flowers. Finish your trip with Tianzi Cable Car before heading back to your Zhangjiajie hotel.
Day 3: Golden Whip Stream - Huangshizhai (L)
Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park once more to explore the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) in the morning. This charming valley brings you to the Pandora's wonderland of the movie Avatar. You will take a leisure hike for about 2.5 hours along the stream. Relax in beautiful mountains, fresh air, and pure water. Later, taking a cable car ride up and down to see the Huangshi Village, which is 3,543ft (1,080m) above sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. You will be transferred back to your Zhangjiajie hotel afterwards.
Day 4: Tianmen Mountain - transfer to Fenghuang (L)
On this day, you will proceed to Tianmen Mountain cable car in the morning, and take the world’s longest cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. You will have an awesome experience on the Sky Walk which is made of glass. Then, transfer to Fenghuang which takes approximately 4 hours. You may relax yourself in the bars of the village in the evening after arrival. (Please prearrange your hotel stay in Fenghuang for this night).
Day 5: Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie Airport (L)
Visit the old Phoenix in XiangXi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The Ancient Fenghuang (Phoenix) City is reputed as the “most beautiful village in China” and famous for its surrounding mountains, rivers and ancient primitive architectures. Your tour guide will send you back to Zhangjiajie, and you can choose to be dropped of in your hotel, train station or Zhangjiajie Airport.
