Fish for Marlin, Tuna, Dorado and more aboard the comfortable 27 ft Sport Fisher "Big Kahuna II" with a full bathroom. Experience the thrill of fishing for big game along the beautiful coast of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico known as the sport fishing capital of the world.
When you arrive to the docks in the morning, you will be greeted by the friendly staff who will help you at the set check in time with everything you need for a great day. You will be escorted to your boat and introduced to the crew. Upon boarding you will be taken to the fuel dock to purchase your fishing license (required for all passengers 13 years and older). At the floating dock you will also be able to purchase food, drinks and snacks from the IGY Marina store (credit cards accepted).
Once your bait is loaded, the captain will head towards the fish. On a 5-hour trip there is limit range to no more than a 30-minute travel time in order to maximize your fishing time. On the way out, you will be blown away by a beautiful sunrise and cool breezes blowing through lands end.
Upon arriving to the fishing grounds the crew will set out the trolling "spread". This will include up to 6 fishing lines in the water to begin trolling for fish. Most all of the species we land here is done using trolling methods. Once a fish strikes the mate will hand you the pole and your fight is on. We can run into very large fish so be prepared for a fight that can last from 5 minutes to well over an hour! If you get tired or need help the crew is there to help.
The tour is a catch and release fleet on all bill fish, but you are welcomed to keep any good eating fish like Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Sea Bass, Mackerel and more. If you plan to take fish home, have a professional mount done or want to take some fish home for dinner. the staff can help with that.
